Deaf-blind people can finally get access to and enjoy television content in real time and without the help of another person thanks to PervasiveSUB, a pioneering software financed by Telefónica and developed by a team of researchers from Universidad Carlos III in collaboration with FASOCIDE (Federation of Deafblind Associations).

Pervasive SUB compiles all closed captioning issued by different TV channels and forwards them to smartphones or tablets through the app Go All. Deaf blind users only have to connect these devices to their Braille displays. The app is compatible with different Braille device models.

This tool has been tested in Spain and the USA by a team of deafblind users who are members of FASOCIDE.

Go All is available for Android and iOS, and can be downloaded at no cost.
