The Alcatel One Touch 2004C is a basic feature phone designed with senior citizens in mind. It is a device suitable for people with low vision, hearing disabilities, reduced manual dexterity and limited comprehension skills. Amóvil was able to review this handset, thanks to a loan by Orange.

General features and specifications

The phone measures 112 x 61.5 x 12.5 mm and weighs 89 grams which makes it very ergonomic and easy to handle. It has a physical keypad with large keys and a basic 2.4 inches non touchscreen display with 320 x 240 pixels resolution that shows content in large fonts and good contrast.

In addition, the handset comes with a very basic menu with large icons that includes a calculator, alarm, phonebook and a LED flashlight. It also has Bluetooth technology to connect to other devices, Radio FM and hands-free features, among others.

Because this model is targeted to senior citizens, Alcaltel has included a single emergency button that is located at the back of the device. Upon activating it, the phone sets an alarm off and tries to connect with five preset numbers in succession until someone picks up. It will also send a text message to each call recipient.
